All Timorese citizens living/studying in the United States are requested to register with the Embassy of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste in Washington, D.C. by submitting the following Documents:

1. Print and fill out the Inscrição Consular form: Inscrição_Consular.pdf
2. Copy of passport
3. Digital passport photo (jpg format)
4. Copy of RDTL birth certificate
5. Copy of electoral card

It is imperative for all Timorese citizens to contact the embassy 9-6 months prior to Passport Expiration. Passport Renewals may be an extensive process due to improper documentations or other related issues.

Please be advised that while traveling abroad, Passports should be valid for 6+ months.
